hm.. does your school have japanese classes? books are helpful, but i think classes are more beneficial because you can talk to other people and practice with them.

i'm sorta fluent in spanish. i can read, write and understand it but when it comes to speaking the language, i fail. as for japanese, i can speak it well but there's so much more i need to learn.
xD and i'm trying to learn mandarin. it's a bit frustrating because if you don't stress a certain word/syllable just right, you'll be saying something else.
